Care for One Another
An ABF is so much about the relationships. “People come for the teaching, but stay for the community.” This is a true statement. You and I can make a huge impact on the lives of our brothers and sisters our ABFs. Some are doing great and want to tell someone. Others are beat up and need someone to put an arm around them. Some are new and may not feel connected with anyone in the ABF. :^(
You make the difference every time you walk into the ABF. By your willingness to listen, to welcome a newcomer, to find ways to serve, you are building up God’s people.
The very powerful verse my friend Larry shared with us last week in our ABF can be our motto: “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” Wow! Think of the impact if you and I practiced this everywhere we went. The people around us would be blessed and thankful for us in their lives.
So let’s do it. When others see you loving the ABF it motivates them and sharpens them. Thanks for serving.
