Week 6! Galatians 3:15-25

Wow we are six weeks into this experiment. We’ve heard great things so far through our survey. You can be very excited how the Lord has used you and the other leaders in the lives of people. We are fortunate and grateful for God’s hand in these groups.

We hope to have some results to your coach soon about the survey. Remember to encourage your people to do the survey. Here’s the link again. http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/3TGTJLD

This week you will need to have a plan for what your group’s Next Steps will be. Some groups will disband, some people will want to drop out, many groups will continue on. Be ready before your meeting so you can tell them what the group will be doing.

Let you coach know …

1. what you’re group will be doing,

2. and if you’ll continue on

You also need to help your people find a new group or stick together.

These are little details with each of your participants. Please make sure you have a conversation with each person in your group. If they want to find another group have them contact us and give us their contact information. You will also have a listing of all the ABF & HABF offerings, all 76 of them. This list can be found on the last page of the curriculum or they can go on our website.

Curriculum this week. I encourage you to read this text in the NLT version. I think its very clear and accessible to most in this version. Here’s a link http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Gal%203:15-25&version=NLT

This week’s lesson is a powerful explanation of the role of the law for us. Now that we are children of the promise started with Abraham, how do we relate to the law? Enjoy the sermon and the lesson.

I was told last night at the ABF about a survey to fill out about how we liked the Galatians ABF and if we wanted to continue. I am not a computer geek and have trouble finding most anything on the computer so I didn’t find the survey but found this so am using it to tell you how much I am enjoying the ABF on Galatians and want to continue. I think most in the group feel the same way but some may not continue because of other commitments. I know of two that are having surgery in a few weeks and will probably not be able to come for a while.
I know we go over the chapter the sermon was on in church on Sunday but we always seem to learn something more and take something else away from the study. The friend I bring with me doesn’t go to the Chapel so it is all fresh to her and I know she enjoys coming and the fellowship very much.
I am very glad it is going on and even said around the second home meeting that I hoped it would continue more than the 6 weeks.

Eileen, you are computer savvy. You posted a comment on a blog! Way to go.
I am so glad your experience has been a good one. We have seen this repeated throughout our GGs! We are grateful to the Lord for his hand.
