2nd Session starts, Galatians 3:26-4:7

I am so glad your group is continuing on to the second session! Twenty-two groups will finish the book together. If you need a few more people let us know. We hope to give you a few more.

We learned a lot from the survey your people took. People really like what’s happening. It’s off the charts how much they’ve enjoyed your leadership! You have a big part with that. We are grateful to God moving in our GGs. About a half of our GG participants have taken the survey so, if your people have not taken it encourage them again to go to this link: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/3TGTJLD

One area to begin working at now that the group relationships are established is prayer. You’ll notice this session that we will beef up the prayer in the curriculum. Prayer is an issue that divides many groups. Some groups have experienced prayer warriors that will easily jump into this time. Other leaders will find that the people do not feel comfortable praying out loud. You’ll have people all over that spectrum. Try to gauge your group. Don’t ask anyone to pray who you think may not be comfortable. We will give suggestions to leaders whose participants are just learning about praying in a group.

For your group experience keep on asking one person to share their spiritual journey or testimony. Remember a simple template is: 5 min life before Christ, 5 min how they met Christ, & 5 min what life has been like with Christ. If you have gotten through all your people you can simply start your meeting with prayer. Ask how you can pray for each other. You can also ask someone to up date the group on a previous prayer request. For more ideas contact your coach.

Thanks,

Dane
