Best practices

I stopped by to see the Bath Home Group last night. It was good to are some old friends. We had time to look back over the sermon in John 3 and discuss the implications of “born again.
Here’s their best practices.
First,  they have strong team that leads the group. CA and Mona host. CA leads prayer. Steve and Dennis help lead the equipping or teaching functions. Strong Communities are built through a team. Every part of our groups should function as a group. That includes the leadership of the group.
Here’s another smart thing I saw. As they shared prayer requests at the end they wrote them down on a journal. What a great reminder that will be for them as the Lord answers these prayers. I think too spending the time record prayers makes them some how more real, more concrete.
Thanks Bath Home Group for having me.
