Colossians 4 Secret

I am grateful for the many folks that are considering leading an Investigative Group. So far thirteen people are considering leading. We want many more. Two have even stepped forward in Wadsworth. I look forward to what God will do in each of us and in the participants of these groups.

So what’s the secret?

In Colossians 4 St. Paul says what it is. “And pray for us that God would open a door for our message.” NIV May I ask that you pray? Paul knew there was no way he could accomplish God’s call on his own, to preach to ends of the earth. It does take prayer. We too must join in praying for many open doors.

Here’s a few ways to lift up a few requests to the Lord.

  1. Pray that God would draw in thirty leaders for our igroups.
  2. Pray that the Lord would open our network of friends and family to the message.
  3. Pray that we can communicate Jesus clearly.
  4. Pray that with wisdom we would graciously love those around us.

What will happen?? How will God stretch us and move out before us? I can’t wait to see.

Here’s a few specifics. Our training comes up February 5th 9am to noon at the Green Campus, East End room. Sign up with Debbie Cardy at . Curriculum is being written as we speak. Six lessons from the gospels: the Wedding at Cana, the Paralytic through the Roof, Bread of Life, the Demoniac healing, Matthew the tax collector, Jesus calling the first disciples. Powerful stories of Christ.

Can I say again I’m excited? Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. If can help you in anyway please feel free to contact me.
